The multi talented Prabhu Deva who is a successful Actor, Choreographer and Director in South Indian films is currently one of the busy directors in Bollywood. His upcoming directorial venture with Ajay Devgan playing the lead is titled as Action Jackson.
A Hollywood film is currently under production with the same title and Warner Brothers, the producers of the Hollywood venture have sued Baba films, the producers of Prabu Deva film for using the same title. Warner Brother have also registered a complaint with the Hindi Film Producers council. The council has convened an urgent meeting with Thanvani the representative of Baba films to sort out the issue.
It is said that Prabhu Deva is stubborn in retaining the title and not to give in to the pressure from the Hollywood Production house, Thanvani has also wondered on how a Hollywood film will be affected by a Bollywood film with the same title. He has also rejected the demand of the Warner Brothers to get a copy of the script of his film.
